Not the best movie ever, not even close. Not even with Dennis Hopper, Dean Stockwell, Russ Tamblyn, the members of Devo and Neil Young playing out an 80's post-apocalyptic fantasy. But, for a few minutes, it's the most mind-blowing rock video never to make it to Mtv. The first time I saw this, I was completely destroyed by it's ferocity. While I appreciate Devo and Neil Young separately, they've never quite gotten me to that ecstatic peak of freaked-outness. I have scoured the internets for a video to show you. Nada. But, someone at WFMU was nice enough to post the mp3, awhile back. Imagine Booji Boy (Mark Mothersbaugh in creepy baby mask) in a playpen, beating on a moog with the rest of Devo in the background, looking very much like pilled-out rock and roll delinquent/cave-men and then Neil, absolutely losing it on his guitar and basically destroying Booji's playpen with the power of his shredding. Here 'tis:
Neil Young/Devo - Hey Hey My My
